Even though this post is going up on Boxing Day, Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day filled with good food, company and presents! As the festive season leaves (cries) and the season for spending is now upon us, I thought I’d share with you what I got for Christmas this year to help spark some Boxing Day shopping inspiration. This post is a sort of follow up from my Christmas Gift Guide 2015 post, but to also help you navigate the retail realm this week. Boxing Day sales (and the week of sales that follow it) can be overwhelming, but knowing what you want and staying focused will help you get the most out of the sales.
This year I picked out all my gifts so there were no surprises in store, but I’m so happy and excited to try out everything I received! When I was planning what I wanted this year I noticed I’ve moved away from asking for a big, main present and opted for more smaller gifts. I first got Blue Neighbourhood by Troye Sivan (very proud of you!) which I’ll be reviewing in a few weeks time. Then I opened the Chi Chi palette in Spices which has the most beautiful shades and pigmentation for its price! I’ll also be doing a product review on that in a few weeks. I then opened two journals, one is a plain 4 subject notebook while the other is a 2016 weekly planner from Typo.
My last present was a gift box from Lush, and it was the “Merry Christmas” set which featured 5 bath bombs. I picked this specific set out because the bath bombs are my favourite product from Lush and it only came to $34, which I thought was a great deal. I really love all the scents in this set with none of them being overly sweet or overly glittery. I haven’t tried any of these bombs yet, as they are Christmas themed, so I can’t wait to try them out and review them for you. I know all Lush gift sets are 50% on Boxing Day and beyond until they run out of stock, so I definitely recommend popping into a Lush store if you happen to be out because they would have some really amazing deals. I hope you enjoyed this post, leave a comment in the replies section on what you got for Christmas, or awesome Boxing Day deals you want to share with others!
All the love,
