Current Beauty Wish List

In a very yo-yo beauty junkie manner, I can go months without really wanting any makeup item, to suddenly needing it all. Right now, I feel like Kirby* wanting to inhale anything and everything before me. Blame it on the longest lunar eclipse in a century happening yesterday. Blame it on me forgetting to buy myself a ‘treat yo self’ gift for finishing my previous uni semester. Who knows! Not me. Either way, from skincare to primers, palettes, duo-chrome lip glosses and even entire collections, there’s a bunch of stuff I want to get my grabby little hands on, and here’s why. Give this post a “like” if you enjoy it, and let’s get into the unnecessary consumerism!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Norvina Eyeshadow Palette

Let’s kick off with the product that inspired this entire wish list. Anastasia Beverly Hills recently revealed their newest and most anticipated eyeshadow collection, the Norvina palette. For the unaware, Norvina (real name Claudia) is the daughter of Anastasia and is also the brand’s president (while Anastasia is the CEO). They’ve hinted at this palette for ages, so it’s no surprise the shock announcement photo got over a million likes! (Which, weirdly enough, only shows up as 837k when I embed the link onto my blog? Have I hacked Instagram?) I love the entire look of this palette. I think the colour story is super unique as it’s purple toned and leans more in the cool side, and the shades are both wearable yet also unconventional. Since buying their Soft Glam palette, I’m absolutely in love with their incredible, pigmented formula, so I can’t wait to add Norvina to my collection!

A Bunch of Clinique Products

There’s a whole bunch of products from Clinique I want, but what’s been on my wish list for the longest time is their Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk. Basically since it’s a milky oil, you just rub it into your skin and watch as your makeup dissolves, then rinse it off with water. I already take my makeup off in a similar way using a really gentle cleanser, but ever since seeing my favourite drag queens rave about this without being sponsored, I want it for myself! She’s $50 though, hence why I’ve never taken the plunge.

Next on my list is their Moisture Surge 72-Hour Auto-Replenishing Hydrator because I’ve heard so many people genuinely rave about it, plus it’s a gorgeous shade of baby pink. Finally I’ve been meaning to try their Beyond Perfecting Foundation after, again, hearing so many good reviews! My sister also uses this foundation and it looks amazing, so seeing it first hand and not on YouTube makes me want it even more!

MAC Prep + Prime Fix+

Is this even a wish list if I don’t include Fix+? I’ve been meaning to buy this cult classic since the dawn on time, but I’ve just never gotten around to it. But soon! I’m always on the lookout for a primer, a setting spray, and something to intensify my eyeshadows, and this does all three! I’m really keen to see what all the fuss it about.

A Couple Marc Jacobs Beauty Goodies

Alright, let’s get a bit unrealistic for a hot minute. I fully know I’m not going to buy these Marc Jacobs products, but I am also fully going to let myself lust over them for the time being. Their new Coconut Glow collection is just so gorgeously sleek and summery looking. That bronzer is jumbo sized and beautiful and the palette is full of shades I already own but I don’t care- I want it. Also this photo is stunning. That subtle palm leaf shadow to evoke summer vibes? Flawless.

Gorgeous But A Bit Out There Lipglosses from Kylie Cosmetics

She’s 20, she’s almost a billionaire, and she’s churning out too many collections. I’ve hopped off the Kylie Cosmetics bandwagon in recent months, but the trio of duo-chrome glosses in her newest Summer collection give me ultimate heart eyes. Look at them! I have a couple Kylie glosses and the formula is divine. They’re so smooth, so glossy, so pigmented, and the ones I own with glitter don’t feel gritty in the slightest. They’re just really beautiful to wear. I do think that part of my love for these is that they remind me of ultra girly lip glosses from my childhood. My friend recently whipped out something suspiciously similar looking from Colourpop, so I might have a gander around the internet.

So Many Things From Colourpop’s Zodiac Collection

Speaking of Colourpop, I want more. I’m a mess. I keep saying I’ll stop buying makeup from them but then they pulled me in with their newest collection. It’s another collaboration with Kathleen Lights and it’s all astrology themed! Am I excited? Yes. Am I more excited over the fact that Kathleen shares my sign of Aquarius and put our star sign front and centre on the eyeshadow palette packaging and it makes me feel special? Definitely. I’ll be honest, I didn’t like the palette colours when I first saw it. But the more I look at it, the more I like it. What annoys me though is ever since Kathleen said this new Zodiac palette and her recent Dream St palette are like sisters who work so well together, I now want both. This is dangerous territory.

What I’m truly gaggin’ over though is the champagne pink toned Supernova shadow called Constellation. I own a metallic gold Supernova from them called Walk of Fame and it’s so beautiful, I get people asking me what it is every time I wear it. But I’ve always wanted them to come out with a slightly more subtle shade that isn’t as rich, and this is it. THIS IS IT. I would have bought the palette and everything else by now if this one liquid eyeshadow wasn’t sold out. There’s also a nude lipstick called ‘What’s Your Sign?’ I might as well chuck in my cart while I’m at it because the Colourpop lipstick formula is incredible; pigmented, matte but hydrating, long lasting, they’re just so good.

So we’re finally reached the end of what’s on my current beauty wish list! What makeup are you eyeing off? Tell me in the comments below, I’d love to know! Also don’t forget to give this post a “like” if you enjoyed it!

  1. I have the Norvina and I love it – its full of beautiful but wearable colors. ☺️

Also, love Fix+ but not as a true setting spray. It doesn’t make my makeup last any longer (like Urban Decay’s setting Sprays do), but it makes powders and other products melt together for a much more natural skin-like finish. Definitely planning to repurchase when I run out.

  2. I will probably get the Zodiac palette myself as I love Colourpop, the Norvina is nice shades, but I can put those together with other palettes I have already and spend less. The Marc Jacobs makeup is beautiful but I am with you that I can’t handle the price tag of those. I love CP’s glosses and matte lipsticks they are awesome.
